“An excellent place to stay for families and deserves its high rating. For kids; toys, animals and fun garden to play in. For the adults; comfy beds, a good shower and lovely view (especially from the window seat). We all enjoyed the peaceful location and felt really relaxed even though we were only there for a short visit. Lots of things to do nearby like Big Sheep and some good pubs. Recommended!

“Having booked last minute we had a super, peaceful and fun weekend staying here, with our 16 month-old daughter. She loved the toy and ride-on tractors, as well as the rabbits, chickens and lambs, and the house and garden were very child-friendly with a high chair, stairgates and baby bath provided. We enjoyed local walks to Bucks Mills and Peppercombe, as well as an unexpected trailer tour round the farm which was great! The family were very welcoming and the house was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen.

The property itself is situated on Amanda’s working farm and is a short drive to supermarkets and all the main children’s attractions like The Big Sheep, Milky Way and Westward Ho! Which is a massive benefit and very convenient. But that’s not what makes this place special…
What does make it special is Amanda and her family. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. From sitting in the garden watching the baby rabbits and chickens and collecting fresh eggs, to bottle feeding baby lambs and also being able to see the Farrier change the horses shoes.
Amanda and her husband also took us out on their tractor so we could see some of their 300 cows and also took my daughter out for a pony ride which was definitely her highlight of the holiday!
We are already planning to come back and cannot recommend Amanda’s property enough!
“We had a lovely stay at Amanda's property for 4 nights in May 2024. We booked our stay only a couple of days before and Amanda was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our messages. Amanda ensured that we had all of the equipment that we would need for our 21 month old daughter, including stairgates, cot with bedding, highchair, toys and bathing equipment - it made the trip so much easier knowing everything was there that we would need. The accomodation was clean and comfortable. Our daughter very much enjoyed playing in the garden on the toy tractors and slides, as well as seeing the chickens, rabbits, horses and lambs. We were also lucky enough to have a ride around the farm on the tractor and trailer. It is a beautiful location, which is rural, but also close enough to drive to local amenities and beaches. Amanda and her family were friendly and knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a lovely holiday.

“If you have young children this is the place to stay! All necessities provided, child proof garden and plenty of toys. The location is secluded and relaxing yet 10 minutes from amenities including supermarket and pharmacy. Great hosts making our stay relaxed and comfortable, and the little one fully entertained.
